HarzBlock: Bouldering Guidebook

The fourth edition of Harzblock covers the bouldering areas in and around the Harz mountains on 528 pages. Over 2500 boulder problems are described in detail with photo topos, pictograms, first ascent information and comments. In addition to the main area Oker Valley, other granite areas in the northern and eastern Harz are listed, as well as the sandstone areas in the northern Harz foreland.

The approach to the areas is described with detailed maps and in words. The location of the blocks is shown on the maps, and GPS coordinates are also given for each block. By combining these details, each block should be found. Numerous photos whet the appetite and motivation for the granite blocks in Germany's north. The guide also includes a detailed introduction on areas, rules of the game, lodging options, history, and food and rest day tips. For the collectors, a tick list for all problems from Fb 6c is also included. The info section as well as the area and approach descriptions are also in German and English.
