This bouldering guide book is the most up-to-date and presents 22 of the most beautiful and diverse bouldering areas in Southtyrol. It was created in collaboration with the Alpenverein Südtirol (AVS), our local Alpine Club. It includes historic spots such as the sportclimbing and bouldering area ‘Steinerne Stadt’ as well as newer areas like ’Spiluck’ in Varna, Bressanone. The biggest and also most known are is probably Algund (Lagundo), next to Merano.The boulders are spread all over the forest and divided into 15 different areas. Also in the other valleys of Southtyrol you find great destinations, e.g. Pojen in Pustertal or Bergkristall in Passeiertal. In Southtyrol you can boulder with best conditions in summer as well as in winter.
